Playing Soccer doesn't stop after College; SoFive Cherry Hill welcomes Soccer Players of all levels

Do you ever miss the feeling of scoring a goal? Blocking a shot? Lacing up your boots and taking that first step on the pitch? Soccer is a sport for any person of any age, and creates a lasting feeling. In Cherry Hill, New Jersey Sofive welcomes all players of any skill set and age to come out and play.

Monday through Thursday nights opens up the building, while three games are played on the field simultaneously. Thursday nights holds leagues for all players over the age of 40, and the love for the sport shows. From 8-10pm games run along with passion and energy.

Both Larry Stefani and Donny Felton are in the over 40 league and their love of soccer has never stopped. Starting when he was 4, Stefani played throughout his life, as he got older he started playing in an outdoor league. When he gets a call about being a fill-in, Stefani learns about Sofive. After just playing once, Stefani joined a team and has been playing since. When being asked about what keeps him playing, "I'm just trying to get exercise and still play competitively. I just love the game." The love of the game always brings joy in people's lives.

Donny Felton had a similar start to Stefani as he started playing around the age of 6. Knowing about Sofive since it was originally ISC Cherry Hill then XL Sports, Felton is no stranger to the area. When talking about being able to play, Felton spoke about the connection the sport has to him, "I just love it, I love to play. It's fun. I coach, I've got kids, they got me back into it as I got older."

While many people just see soccer as another sport, everyone at Sofive shows love and meaning to everyone playing. Soccer is for all and there are many opportunities to continue playing with Sofive being a great place to join.
